Key Members of Congress & Obama Administration Will Discuss Highway Trust Fund & Transportation Bill Reauthorization
April 14 During Transportation Construction Fly-In
(WASHINGTON)— With the latest funding authorization for the federal highway and transit program set to expire May 31 and the future financial stability of the Highway Trust Fund mired in uncertainty, some key members of Congress and the U.S. Secretary of Transportation April 14 will address the more than 500 transportation design and construction executives at the annual Transportation Construction Coalition (TCC) Washington Fly-In.
In addition to policy briefings from congressional and administration officials, TCC members will head to Capitol Hill April 15 for a day of meetings with their representatives and senators to discuss the highway funding crisis and the impacts it is having on their businesses and state construction markets.
